[Superman] Chapter 78: Giving a Planet Hairstyle
🕑 Added 2024-02-03 13:36:04 +0000 UTCIn an ordinary galaxy dozens of lightyears from the Solar System.
A rainbow beam shot through, but halted abruptly after nearing a rocky planet about half Earth's size.
Next moment, as the light pillar dissipated, two figures appeared within.
"Human, return my battleaxe to me!"
Having his weapon snatched by Peter twice in a row made Thor very angry.
"Sorry, no air in space, I can't hear what you're saying."
Although with super hearing Peter could totally ignore any medium to hear Thor,
At this moment, he pretended not to hear Thor's words, provocatively digging his ear.
"So you go down first!"
Then Peter's gaze abruptly turned icy, directly flinging Thor's body towards the rocky planet below.
Immediately after, he glanced at the weapon in his hand, different from Stormbreaker in the movies. With no attachment in his eyes,
"Since you want it, I'll return it to you!"
He directly tossed it at the falling Thor as well.
The next second, Peter's body also flashed towards the desolate planet rapidly.
If this planet was conscious, it would surely exclaim that it had forgotten to check its horoscope today, how did it end up provoking these two calamities.
"Haha, it's my battleaxe!"
While falling, Thor excitedly saw his battleaxe following close behind. He hurriedly raised his right hand.
"Come to me!"
At Thor's call, the battleaxe in the air instantly sped up, flying back into his hand.
"Great, that guy actually looks down on me so much. Next I'll make him know the consequences of looking down on me!"
With his battleaxe back in hand, electric radiance once again swirled around Thor.
The minor injuries he suffered from the previous punch had almost instantly recovered now.
Divine power reinfused his body, making him feel even stronger than before at this moment.
"Next up, it's my turn."
Thor steadied his constantly falling body, slowly coming to a stop hundreds of meters above the ground.
And in the next moment, a figure instantly appeared before him.
Taking a closer look, it was Peter.
...
"Perhaps your power does exceed my expectations."
Staring at Peter before him, Thor's gaze gradually turned heavy. Peter's performance just now was already enough to make him truly get serious.
"But the warriors of Asgard cannot be defeated!"
Thor raised the battleaxe in his hand, the aura erupting from him growing increasingly stronger.
"Don't know who it was last time that lost and almost cried..."
But Peter's light words instantly stalled the erupting aura from Thor, his complexion turning extremely ugly.
"Cough cough, I absolutely won't lose to you a second time!"
Thor roared, as if wanting to vent all the humiliation from losing to Peter last time.
In an instant, terrifying clouds obscured the sky.
Countless fiery red thunder brewed within.
The lightning swirling around Thor also gradually started turning fiery red.
The originally silvery white battleaxe in his hand also gradually revealed fiery red veins, bright as fire.
Rumble rumble!
Below the two, the ground also seemed to harbor some gigantic monster constantly stampeding about.
The surface rolled and surged, like something was about to burst out from within.
"You were right before, Midgard is not a good place to fight."
"The humans there are pathetically weak, simply unable to withstand the terrifying power I can unleash at full strength."
At this moment, Thor's eyes had completely turned blood-red. Fiery flames burned in his pupils.
The berserk thunderous divine power around him had also long since been dyed fiery red.
Surrounded by the bright red flames, he appeared like an angry fire giant!
"But here, I will utterly defeat you!"
Next moment, Thor suddenly raised the battleaxe in his hand.
The fiery red thunder that was brewing ceaselessly in the sky seemed to receive some special signal.
Under Thor's action, the thunderous roar surged downwards.
Crack! Crack!
Countless thick crimson thunderbolts continuously struck the axe in Thor's hand.
The terrifying thunder tainted Thor's armor into a deep crimson.
The dark clouds resembled a sea of blood-red thunder.
Some thunderbolts struck directly on the ground, instantly revealing the true form of the rolling "monster."
It wasn't a galloping creature but patches of scorching red magma.
"This guy, is he activating his second form?"
Peter observed Thor, who was now surrounded by flames and thunder, with great interest.
"I wonder if he can withstand my punch in this form."
Watching Thor's escalating momentum, resembling the fusion of a fire god and a thunder god, Peter refrained from interrupting.
Finally, Thor's aura reached its peak.
"Ah!"
With an angry roar, Thor suddenly leaped hundreds of meters into the air.
All the thunder in the sky seemed to merge with his body.
With immense momentum, along with the dark clouds and blood-red thunder above the sky, Thor, with his body and the axe in his hand, pressed down on Peter like an overwhelming force.
The axe in his hand gleamed with a crimson light, appearing to have grown several times larger to the naked eye.
Like a colossal axe, it mercilessly descended towards Peter.
Meanwhile, the magma continuously spewed out below, but it was gradually drawn by Thor's terrifying momentum, converging into a terrifying crimson fire dragon.
Roar!
With a roar, it charged towards Peter's body.
...
"The spectacle is impressive, but unfortunately, it's futile."
Even at this moment, there was no change in Peter's expression.
"It's impossible, he must be pretending!"
As Thor's axe was about to strike Peter, he still didn't see any hint of fear or panic on Peter's face.
"For the glory of Asgard!"
Shocked to the core, Thor abandoned everything and struck towards Peter with all his might.
Boom!
With the momentum of thunder, just before Thor's axe was about to hit Peter's body, Peter effortlessly blocked it with one hand raised.
"How is this possible?"
Feeling the overwhelming and unshakable power coming from Peter, Thor exclaimed, "It's impossible!"
"There are many things that are impossible, like..."
Peter took a deep breath, his expression turning serious for the first time.
The next moment, his other hand slowly clenched into a fist, and amidst Thor's incredulous gaze, he suddenly struck out.
In an instant, time seemed to freeze.
The terrifying power almost materialized at this moment.
Thor's body, along with the planet below, crumbled inch by inch.
If viewed from space, it would reveal a huge chasm traversing the entire surface of the planet composed of stones.
With just one punch, Peter gave this rocky planet a hairstyle similar to that of a certain singer-dancer.
The next moment, accompanied by the shimmering light of the Rainbow Bridge, Peter's figure vanished instantly.
Meanwhile, in Asgard, Odin slowly raised his head.
...
