[Superman] Chapter 76: The New God of Thunder Returns to Earth!
🕑 Added 2024-02-03 06:45:17 +0000 UTCUnder the witness of the dwarven king Eitri and all the dwarves.
One of the intact Surtur skull's long horns suddenly broke off, instantly melting into the forge's liquid.
And this seemed like a signal, immediately after, the entire skull was thoroughly melted at this moment, merging into the forge.
"Quick, extinguish the neutron star's flame!"
Reining in the intense excitement within, Eitri hurriedly issued new orders.
Instantly, the mechanisms on the ring shut off with a rumble.
The scorching beam spewing out from the neutron star also slowly dissipated.
"Eternal Flame, the rest is up to you now."
As the neutron star's flame extinguished, a faint golden flame suddenly ignited under the forge.
Yet under the flicker of this weak flame, the entire forge started violently shaking.
As if there was an enraged behemoth about to break out from within.
"Roar!!!"
To everyone's shock, an angry roar echoed from the forge into everyone's ears.
It even seemed to shake the entire Nine Realms.
On the palace of Asgard, Odin, who had been closing his eyes to suppress the increasingly powerful divine power within him, seemed to sense something at this moment.
He suddenly opened his one eye, gazing into the void as if he could see everything within the Nine Realms.
"Surtur, Eternal Flame."
"Dwarven king Eitri, you actually did this..."
"Since that's the case, then let me lend you a hand!"
In the next moment, Odin's gaze abruptly hardened, his spear Gungnir pointing into the void.
Instantly, a dazzling golden beam of light pierced through all of Asgard, like the rainbow bridge directly spanning the Nine Realms.
...
"That's...Surtur?"
"How is this possible, I already killed him!"
At this moment, Thor in Nidavellir looked up in disbelief at the giant fiery figure hovering in the void.
He wielded a fiery red longsword, swinging it continuously, seemingly unstoppable in his terrifying stride.
Within that figure, Thor seemed to see a familiar sight of Asgard, being constantly ravaged and almost destroyed.
"Eitri, what exactly is going on?"
Thor's face was full of shock and horror. At this moment, he seemed to be seeing the true prophecy of Ragnarok.
"Thor, don't worry, that's just the original trajectory of its fate replaying."
"The Eternal Flame has sparked all this, but the wheels of fate have shifted, the future is no longer a fixed timeline."
Just as Eitri explained, a terrifying golden beam abruptly pierced through the void, instantly shattering the illusion before everyone's eyes.
"No!"
Accompanied by an unwilling roar, the fiery giant and the golden beam directly sank into the enormous forge together.
A bizarre vein pattern emerged on the forge's outer wall, fading back into it after a few seconds.
"Odin's blessing?"
Eitri looked at the scene before his eyes, his gaze filled with surprise.
He had forged weapons all his life, but witnessing Odin bestowing divine power on a weapon was only the third time.
"Thor, your father..."
He slowly turned, looking at Thor as if wanting to say something but hesitating.
But very quickly, Eitri dismissed any other thoughts, focusing on forging the weapon.
"Quick, bring the mold over. Oh right, and the World Tree branch too!"
Seeing Odin's blessing merge into the forge, Eitri anxiously shouted.
Then he personally went forward, slowly tipping over the forge.
In the next moment, a liquid metal flickering with various colors, like magma, slowly flowed out from the forge.
Flowing into a prepared square tool to be molded.
As the last drop of liquid metal drained from the forge, the mold was also completely filled up.
...
Very quickly, the specially designed mold rapidly cooled down, and the liquid metal within successfully took shape.
Eitri looked at everything with excitement, and without hesitation, smashed the mold.
The next moment, two pieces of still-hot, fiery red metal blocks appeared before him.
On the metal blocks, one could faintly see fiery red patterns, intertwined with strands of golden threads.
"Give me the handle..."
Taking the branch of Yggdrasil from the other dwarves, Eitri ignored the still-emitting hot metal blocks and slowly extended the branch of Yggdrasil.
In an instant, a bizarre energy fluctuated between the World Tree branch and the two metal blocks.
The originally dead World Tree branch seemed to be reactivated in this moment.
The branches began to spread rapidly, extending new branches one after another, firmly binding the two halves of the battleaxe together.
Ding!
Then with a clear metallic chime, it completely and perfectly fused them together.
In the next moment, Eitri felt a powerful force transmitting from the World Tree branch in his hand.
The just forged battleaxe instantly slipped from his hands, floating up into the air.
For the first time, the entire sky above Nidavellir was covered in clouds forming a doomsday scene.
Crackle, boom!
Silvery bolts of lightning and fiery thunder continuously exploded within the clouds.
The scene resembling the end of the world stunned all the dwarves.
"Thor, quickly, grab it and fully unleash the divine power within you!"
Only the dwarven king Eitri watched Thor with anticipation on his face.
"Alright!"
Thor did not hesitate at all.
His body flashed with silvery electric radiance, as if resonating with the scene in the void.
In the next moment, Thor's whole body floated up from the ground, charging straight into the skies.
That battleaxe flickering with silver and fiery red lightning also seemed attracted by Thor's aura.
It instantly hovered in the void and rushed towards Thor at high speed.
Instinctively, Thor raised his right hand and firmly gripped the battleaxe.
In an instant, two terrifying energies converged towards his body.
In just a moment, half of his body was rendered a shimmering silver color with silver electricity.
(T/N: Ultra Instinct Thor! Let’s go!!!)
While the other half flashed with a bright red light like fire, dazzling flames surrounded him, exuding an aggressive aura.
(T/N: Ultra Instinct + Kaio-ken…Hmm?)
His two eyes also flickered with silver and red light respectively.
His entire being instantly surged with an imposing momentum, as if the fiery red flames and silver lightning were perfectly intertwined.
Even the dark clouds in the sky completely obscured the light from the neutron star at this moment.
"Today, I will personally wash away the disgrace I once suffered!"
As if sensing something, the majestic Thor unhesitatingly raised the battleaxe in his hand. Under the shocked gazes of all the dwarves,
A rainbow beam was directly summoned by Thor. Carrying Thor's body, it instantly pierced through the entire Nine Realms.
"This battleaxe truly lives up to my most outstanding work ever forged!"
At this moment, Eitri watched Thor disappear before them with immense excitement.
...
"Magic armor? Seems pretty interesting."
At the same time, Peter slowly withdrew his consciousness observing Tony.
"I'm here, see you later."
After saying this to Gwen, Peter slowly walked out of the elevator and arrived at the floor of his internship laboratory.
"Professor, I'm here."
And Peter's professor was that Asian beauty scientist, Dr. Helen Cho.
"Parker, you're just in time, come help me test if the regeneration cradle..."
However, before Peter could agree.
Suddenly, the entire building fiercely shook once.
"This is...an earthquake?"
Dr. Cho looked at Peter with some panic.
"No, not an earthquake."
With Peter's powerful perception, he instantly sensed that in a storage room in the building, the pile of silver metal debris was currently flickering with dazzling electric radiance.
As if something was strongly attracting them.
"Sorry Professor, I just remembered I still have some things to take care of..."
While speaking, Peter had already walked out of the lab.
In the next moment, a figure swiftly flew out from the building, rushing towards the splendid beam of light descending from the sky not far away.
"Midgard, I have returned again!"
The light beam dissipated, and Thor wielding his battleaxe, his body flashing with silver and red lightning, floated in the void above. His gaze seemed to sense something in a certain direction.
In the blink of an eye, a figure arrived in an instant.
