More Asterius sketches (updated)🐮
🕑 Added 2025-02-22 19:46:55 +0000 UTCJust a couple more sketchy ideas for you guys. This time, they are more casual poses.
I think part of me is having a bit of trouble in deciding what direction to go in. (Probably partly due to not having played Hades lol) I have seen some game clips and interactions though, so I'm at least partly aware of what his demeanour is like, and I'm trying to reflect that in the body language and expressions 😂
What do you guys think though? Is there a particular pose, that you think might fit best? 🤔
Regardless, hope you guys have a great Weekend! I'll continue brainstorming this in the meantime 😂👍
*Edit - I went with the pose that I liked more which was the first, but I've edited it more to fit his personality (aka not being totally showy and flexing 😂) Thanks again for all of your guys's feedback on this! Really helped out on this one 🙏
*Oh, I also bulked him up a lot more after looking at the Arcana card again lol. ✨💪🐮

Stop nailing the sitting poses!!! Love all the sketches and I think the colored one is the best. It fits him so well

I enjoy looking at the anatomy you draw. I've been wanting to step things up with my lil sketches and it's very interesting to analyze how different muscle groups flex and turn during various actions that you always capture so wonderfully

He's a really humble character and I think something of a soft and gentle demeanor would fit him best. He's such a big cutie.

For sure bud I’m excited as well!! I’m 100% gonna work on it during my free time this 2 days after this shift 😂
Taran
Thanks bud! Looking forward to seeing your new take on him! 😆

They probably knew what they were doing 😂

Thanks!

Maybe if there was a speech bubble in the first “Like this my King?” It might fit 😂 But I can see your point lol
Bleu
Funny how one little Arcana card got this guy back into the mainstream mind library lol

Your style of moos are top notch! What a handsome lad he is!

From what little I know, the second pose is fitting. He's kind of a moodest bull who just does what's necessary and doesn't make a show of it.

I haven't played the game myself. But, see minotaur, admire muscles, give ❤️. Also, for similar reasons, I named a personal minotaur character Asterion, not to mention the one in Minotaur Hotel.

Personally, he doesn’t feel that showy, and he’s mostly put up to the spectacle by Theseus. The second drawing here feels more like him to me 🐂

Great work! I really like the first pose! Fits him very well!
