StreetWear Oversized Jacket - highpoly
🕑 Added 2024-12-28 15:48:16 +0000 UTCcompleted the highpoly for this jacket yesterday
this is pretty much the last piece of the set. Technically the concept also has some fingerless gloves. I may or may not do those, in fact when I posted the poll, I never even noticed those ... somehow. It was only after I started working on this that I did. In any case if I go for them, it will be after this is done, so not point in going on further about those.
somewhat of a complicated model, open stuff is always a bit tedious since you have to deal with the inside parts as well. Those don't have a lot of detail, but they're still visible from some angles, so some work has to go into them
other than that this is and will still be somewhat challenging because of the baggy oversized nature of the jacket. In particular when this gets ingame deformation might be ... not ideal. This might end up streching badly and self clipping (my biggest concern is the baggy arms and the underside portion of the arms when they're lowered). Speculating, of course, as I've never been great at weights/rigging, but then again I've been surprised by some of my results in the past, so there's still hope :P
I really wanted to get this done before the end of the year, I think I'm going to make it but I'll be cutting it very close ... 3 days left so I'm going to have to turbo through this to hopefully make it. Might end up working on this right as we pass into 2025 hehe. Anyway, if I don't even up posting again before 2025, which I probably won't even if I do finish this, happy holidays/new years!
