StreetWear Shoes - preview
🕑 Added 2024-12-13 20:18:56 +0000 UTCdone with the shoes for the streetwear set as well
I was somewhat surprised to find out when I was gathering refs that the shoes from the concept were literally the Balenciaga sock shoes (with the added straps on top), even the tread on the soles matched, so I also pretty much recreated those myself. It was kinda nice, since there were plenty of photos to model from and there was no guess work involved that can sometimes go into translating a concept to 3d. I didn't go for 100% accuracy to the real thing, didn't see the point, but it's close
I kinda messed up with the UVs in the upper area, the texture pattern gets distorted a bit more than I would've liked. I knew there would be some, but I didn't think it would be that bad and I only realized how bad when I was texturing at the end. Going back to fix it would've been too much of a pain at that point, so I left it like that. Not a huge deal, but somewhat annoying that I didn't catch that
I'm probably going to be importing these ingame next, right after making this post and getting them completely out of the way too. The other pieces have also been imported ingame and ready to go by this point
