Sims 4 - Fruit & vegetable displays (Updated again... )
🕑 Added 2022-06-03 10:19:37 +0000 UTCI've wanted to make fresh produce displays for years, but I've always been afraid of the amount of vertices it would imply... But I finally adopted a mix between real meshes and normal maps that make the result very acceptable in term of vertex. I made 6 different displays with produces we can find in France, and, caution, I labelled them as we would in France (you can't have missed it: I'm french!), but I know that what I call "exotic fruits" can be your very casual fruits, what I call "summer veggies" is what you can have in spring... :) I made all these displays in 3 different styles: bulk grocery (I should precise "french organic bulk grocery"!), supermarket & market (coming with plastic and wood crates, so you can also use them for medieval gameplay, maybe?)
The displays can be functional to buy veggies, fruits and herbs if you use Srsly's SCCO.
(They can be used as decors without any problem if you don't have that mod)
EDIT (06/04): Ok, the latest version of the SCCO 4.9.1 doesn't include anymore the interaction to buy fresh produce, so my objects couldn't work. As Srly's Sims isn't available right now, I've added her interaction directly to my mod instead of calling it, as I did before (all credit goes for SCCO). I'll update it when we find a solution together, but in the meanwhile, you can still buy fresh produces! Sorry for all these updates!
