I had a bit of an emotional wave as well writing this chapter. The spirit is indeed Tia Mom, she states so at the end of chapter 13. ;)

That was very beautiful. It brought a couple of tears when she sang that poem to Tia. She's going to make both a great friend and a great mom. Thinking about it, I wonder if that spirit wasn't in fact the one at the spirit board and Tia's mom.
