The best these two have ever gotten along has been in a loveless marriage.
The ball only lasts one night in some versions of this story, but it was originally three, and I decided for three.
This doesn't mean this story will be 10,000 comics long with weeks spent between nights at the ball. I don't know if anyone was suddenly concerned about that possibility, but fear not if you were.

It's my understanding there's a key difference. In most happy poly couples, the couple actually sometimes spend their quality time together. The impression we're getting here is that isn't necessarily happening here.
