Imagine being able to float and fly around and still have to walk because it was a secret. I'd be grumpy, too.
Tiny panel two dragon exists because it would have taken me hours to draw even a modestly convincing medieval fantasy town (which some REALLY optimistic part of me planned to do before they remembered time exists).
A blurry background that's probably a forest with a tiny dragon saying hello was the friendly "get this done on time" choice.

I just assumed that someone at her school was at one time scared of her and exaggerated her strength.

I was assuming that the last panel was a memory from school, so possibly two skinny students, or just one that is taking a safely pessimistic view of their chances against a grumpy Nanase.
