It’s time to introduce a new feature that will give you more control over Oni’s abilities - the Implant System. This mechanic is designed to expand the gameplay possibilities and help you tailor Oni’s skills to match your personal playstyle. Whether you prefer combat efficiency or enhanced exploration, implants will allow you to customize Oni to suit your needs.
General Mechanic Overview
In the distant future, body implants have become a common part of everyday life. It was inevitable that this mechanic would find its way into the world of Parasite Inside. Throughout Oni’s dangerous and terrifying journey aboard the starship COLOS-8, she will find imPacks - implant packages produced by AstroLab for various purposes.
An imPack contains all the essentials: implant components, installation software, and medical supplies to immediately counteract the effects of the surgery. However, you can only install these implants at specially designed medical stations - MedStation H-2, created by AstroLab.
User Instructions: How to Install Implants on MedStation H-2
Consult a medical professional to ensure you have no contraindications for the selected implant.
Make sure the MedStation H-2 is fully operational and free of obstructions around its moving parts.
Scan the AC code from the implant program card found inside the imPack.
Carefully remove the implant module from the imPack and insert it into the corresponding slot on the MedStation H-2.
Remove all clothing, accessories, and your C-Scanner, then lie down on the MedStation H-2.
The bed’s system will automatically recognize your readiness and administer anesthetic immediately.
During the procedure, stay still and avoid speaking.
Once the implant is installed and recovery is complete, the bed’s indicator lights will turn blue, signaling that it is safe to get up.
WARNING! If you experience any issues or pain during the procedure, clearly say “Cancel” or “Stop” to stop procedure and immediately consult a medical professional.
There are three types of implants available aboard COLOS-8: Medical, Combat, and General. Some implants provide significant benefits but may come with side effects, adding another layer of strategic decision-making to your experience.

OxyMax Saturator
The OxyMax Saturator by AstroLab enhances endurance by +20% through improved oxygenation. Installed in the respiratory system, it uses nano-filtration membranes and micro-compressors to increase the level and quality of oxygen in the blood, delaying fatigue and increasing stamina.
Its respiratory feedback system dynamically adjusts oxygen flow, optimizing performance during intense physical activity. Perfect for combat or exploration, this implant allows users to exceed their natural limits safely and efficiently.
Halo-Vision Sensors
The Halo-Vision Sensors implant by AstroLab integrates directly into the eyes, enhancing visual perception by highlighting interactive objects in the environment.
Equipped with light-sensitive micro-sensors, it detects and outlines items or elements that can be engaged with, making navigation and interaction more intuitive. Ideal for explorers and engineers, it offers a clear advantage in low-visibility situations, ensuring that nothing important is overlooked.
ViraFilter Implant
The ViraFilter Implant, developed by AstroMed, is a head implant designed to filter airborne pathogens, reducing the risk of infection through respiration.
This implant purifies the inhaled air using advanced nanofilters, blocking harmful or unknown bacteria and viruses before they enter the respiratory system. Important for environments with high levels of pollution, it provides protection against airborne diseases, making it invaluable for colonists and explorers of new planets.
Echonyx Vision
The Echonyx Vision, designed by AstroLab, is a head implant that tracks unknown sound sources, even through solid walls, by sending visual indicators directly to the user’s retina.
Originally developed for colonists and miners on extraterrestrial worlds, this implant detects unfamiliar sounds, highlighting potential threats or anomalies within the environment. Ideal for exploration and hazard detection, it provides crucial real-time awareness, ensuring greater safety during planetary expeditions.

This implant is now a staple among colonist builders, particularly during the rapid deployment of residential and industrial modules on new planets. Its precise control over body mechanics ensures safe landings from significant heights, making it essential for high-risk environments.
Foot Dampers
The Foot Dampers leg implant enhances running speed by 5%, utilizing advanced shock-absorbing tech to minimize impact and optimize energy transfer during each step. However, this heightened state of alertness is achieved at the expense of the user’s stamina. All of the implants described above have been integrated into the game and will be available in the upcoming update. I plan to expand this list with even more exciting implants in future updates, which will add further depth and variety to the gameplay.

The protagonist can have only two implants installed, for the head and the body. In general, implants are meant to improve the comfort of the game and will not greatly affect the gameplay.
