"Well, you see... we just stumbled upon this, and thought it was... interesting," Ron lied, trying to sound casual.
"Interesting!? This is disgusting!" Hermione retorted, holding the magazine up as if it was a dirty tissue. "Does Greengrass even know that these dirty pictures of her are out in the open!?"
Ron gulped, trying to think on his feet. "Of course she knows," he said, trying to keep his voice steady. "She's the one who decided to feature. There's even an interview with her, just over there," he added, quickly flipping through the pages to find the right spot.

"Well, you see... Hermione, you have to understand that Greengrass' family's finances are a bit... tight, after... erm... the war," Ron tried to explain, doing his best to sound earnest.
"And your finances are any better!?" Hermione snapped, her voice filled with anger. "You're a Weasley, Ron! The Weasleys are not known for their wealth! You're just as broke as Greengrass!"
Ron's face fell, and Harry could see the hurt in his friend's eyes. He knew how much Ron hated being reminded of his family's financial struggles, and that was even the reason why he had approached Harry with the idea of starting PlayWitch in the first place. But that was the price of telling a lie, Harry thought to himself.
Hermione snorted, shaking her head in disbelief. "You're a pervert, Ron. That's what you are. I can't believe you have this! I thought you were interested in me, not some floozy!" she snapped.
With that, Hermione stormed out of the room, the door slamming shut behind her.
Harry and Ron shared a look, unsure of what to do next.
"Well, that went better than expected," Harry said, trying to make a joke.
Ron snorted, shaking his head. "Oh, this is going to be a long year," he muttered. "I had just made peace with Hermione for leaving you two during the war, and now she thinks I'm jacking it to Greengrass of all people... What a bloody mess."
"Don't worry about Hermione, mate," Harry said, trying to cheer up his friend. "She'll come around. If we manage to sell enough of these magazines, then we'll be rolling in gold."
Ron nodded, the corners of his mouth turning up at the mention of money.
"Just a couple months of hard work, and then you can tell Hermione the truth," Harry added. "I'm sure she'll understand, and you two can get back to where you left off."
Ron nodded, his eyes lighting up. "You're right," he said, getting a twinkle in his eyes. And something told Harry that Ron's mind had already drifted off to someplace else. "If the magazine becomes popular enough, maybe we could even convince Hermione to do some poses."
Harry laughed, shaking his head in disbelief. "Ron, you're such a dreamer," he said, patting his friend on the back. But he couldn't help but feel a twinge of excitement at the thought, too.
"Who knows, mate. After we've featured every eligible witch in Hogwarts, she'll be the only one left. And we'll be rich enough to make her an offer she can't refuse," Ron said, waggling his eyebrows suggestively.
Harry chuckled. "Hermione was right. You are a pervert, Ron," he said, shaking his head. "But I like the way you think!"
