Thanks for the comment :) I have an endgame Harry/Daphne in mind here. In regards to Draco and Harry's social standing I imagined that Harry, while certainly having enough money to not work, wanted to make an example as a hard working man and be a leader in rebuilding the magical society after Voldemort's defeat. The point I was trying to make was that doing desk-work was not exactly what Harry had in mind when he envisioned rebuilding society. In regards to Draco, he's not richer than Harry by any means. But while Harry has decided to work for a future he believes in, Draco works for himself. And since Harry is the Man-Who-Conquered and certainly a more popular man than Draco at the moment, Draco loves to get a one-up on him whenever he can. While these thoughts are in my head, I realise that I have failed to convey them adequately in the story, so I'll make some changes to make these things a bit more clear.
