She's a salarywoman secretly obsessed with food, she works every day just so she can go out and eat afterwards, she's got a taste for coffee, probably because she has to deliver it around the office, and all that cortisol has to go somewhere...
With a soft finger tap on the screen, her phone screen glowed gently to life. She scowled at the time, and raised her eyes to the table. She'd managed to eat all but one of the dishes she'd ordered, long after her first few the busser had given up on her table, and stacks of ceramic plates remained surrounding one last slice of cheesecake, and a now cold cup of coffee.
With labored breaths she reluctantly maneuvered her fork towards the cake, and cut piece after thick from the cake. In seconds it was gone, and with a quiet exhale she rested, her shoulders slumping back onto the soft leather booth seat. Usually she kept track of her dishes but after a stressful day at work, all she could think about was eating.
"M-miss?" The nervous waiter had appeared out of the darkness.
She looked up at him with defeat in her eyes, knowing he was looking down at her stomach.
"We're locking up, may I close you out?"
She nodded, and sluggishly dug through her purse, dragging it over top of her belly, dragging along the tightly stretched fabric of her white blouse. She haphazardly produced her credit card, passed it to the man without a second thought, and began the quest to stand. He was back within moments, and as she searched the room she noticed the chairs turned upside down and placed on the table tops, the three to four staff members with bags at their hips, waiting impatiently at the door.
With each step forward her stomach swayed and bobbed, and inside her tight skirt her thighs and ass fought against the grey fabric. She had been careful not to show skin on her nights out, but this time she couldn't help it. Her blouse peaked up ever so slightly above the band of her pencil skirt, showing the top of her belly button to the confused group of waiters and waitress astride the door.
With nervous bows the staff bit her farewell.
She stifled a hiccup, "Gochisosama deshita..."
Some of the staff grinned or giggled, all she could do was smile back nervously.
She struggled back to her apartment along the empty streets. She wiped the humidity from her forehead and pulled her grey jacked down off her shoulders, the sweat running down her neck. Her stomach grumbled as it bobbed along, but with a sigh of relief she spied the entrance to her little apartment building. That relief turned first to shock, and then to horror as the glass door swung wide, and a trim girl in a baggy sweatshirt and small skirt stepped out of the doorway.
She strode nervously towards her and the door, and with a quick glance she'd be caught.
"Mariya-san!"
Mariya turned beet red, straightened her jacket, and nervously approached. The girl at the doorway blushed upon seeing Mariya's stomach, and a grin spread across her face.
"You ate well, why don't you bring me next time!"
Mariya expected a different answer from the girl.
"We've lived next to each other for a year now and we've never gone out together! But you look like you know how to have a good time!"
Mariya nodded, shocked.
"Sure, Yui-san, but where're you going at this hour?"
"I'm going to get some beer from the convenience store, I need to unwind, want to come?"
Mariya eyed her bloated stomach and bit her lip.
"Well... Yeah!"
Stay tuned for her first drawing today! <3
