How NOT to Report Issues...
🕑 Added 2025-03-20 08:07:21 +0000 UTCThese wonderful and highly informative error logs (see screenshots) were sent to me today with a support request. 😅 Once again... 🙄
Let’s talk about how NOT to send error logs to modders...
Never send logs as screenshots. Logs should always be shared in text format, not as images. Screenshots are completely useless for logs because they make it harder to read, search, and debug issues. However, screenshots can be useful when reporting an in-game error message or a visual bug that happens during gameplay.
Check whose mod it is. Before messaging a creator, make sure the issue is actually related to their mod. Logs usually contain script names and folder paths that indicate the source of the error. I do not troubleshoot issues caused by other mods — please contact the original creator of the mod in question.
Describe the issue properly. “It doesn’t work” is not a bug report. Be specific — explain what happens, what mods you have installed, and when the issue started.
Respect other people’s time. If you expect help, at least provide clear and useful information. Sending unreadable logs and saying “figure it out” is just dumping the work on someone else.

I'm always happy to help, and I'm glad to see my audience growing, as it speaks to the popularity of my mods. However, lately, the number of requests has been increasing, and unfortunately, a significant portion of them simply doesn't make sense. Many people don’t read the mod installation guidelines, don’t check which mod is actually causing the error, and send me either logs that have nothing to do with my mods or blurry screenshots where nothing is readable.
If everyone followed basic guidelines—checked which mod was causing the issue, read the instructions, and submitted proper bug reports—most of these unnecessary requests wouldn’t exist at all.
For now, I’m still offering support, but if this continues, I may have to reconsider how I handle it and limit it to paying patrons only.
Thank you for understanding! 😊
P.S. The person who sent me these screenshots doesn’t need to feel attacked—that was not my intention. But they might feel addressed... 😉

On Discord, please. And with all logs (BE and MCCC).

I have a saved TMex BE report that says that Andirz_SmartSharedCore_v.1.15.0.ts4script is 100% the probable cause... (where should I send the saved report? or do you want it?

Also, test with only the suspicious mod in game before you contact a creator. Make sure you have cleared your cache and check if you use onedrive. Also, Google can be your friend with errors.
