Worked perfectly for me. I was so thankful for this mod because I couldn't get the stupid computer to break so I could fix it to save my life. I would have never finished the event without the mod.

sometimes I swear I hate EA! I googled my issue (again and even more specifically) and it took me to this guys site (I've used his site before for a previous events issue) https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2025/01/blast-from-the-past-event/ and I fixed the problem under a fresh save, ZERO mods, ZERO cc, new family, maxis lot in willow creek etc but I didn't try your mod, I just played out the event since so many others said your mod is successful and I know how good your stuff is already. Anyway I'm so sorry I wasted your time but I appreciate you trying to help me. <3

oh gotcha, there's nothing there, it is just a gree plumbob, NO task box shows up at all if that makes sense

No, I mean the current event step at the top left of the screen, i.e. the current task.

Are you referring to the 4 weeks "boxes" saying completed? If so no those are not saying completed at all, nothing. I can send screenshots in the morning if you'd like. It's 130am here in Texas so I'm in bed but I truly appreciate ya.

When you click the BFTP interaction, is the current event step "fulfilled" or not? Collecting the rewards does not happen after every step, but there are certain "stations" in the event where you have to collect the reward.

I have the plumbob icon, I can click on it to see what items I should be able to claim and stuff but the top left box doesn't appear with tasks for me to complete. As for your mod, I installed directly into the mods folder, opened game, clicked on a sim, hit the blast from the past option when the menu comes up, then I go to the plumbob and there's nothing to collect (unable to select I mean). I restart game, I click on terrain select BFTP again, go to the plumbob and try again and still nothing. At this point with like 12 days left I've pretty much given up but I'd like to collect the items just don't know how. I sincerely don't like these hurry up and grab events 😒 🙄 it's mods like yours that save the day but now I can't even get those to work even on a new save with half my mods removed (I sifted through every single mod to only have in what works and is updated because of all my issues previously when I started this new save) sorry for my long response.

I just updated my game finally and still nothing, the event doesn't work for me and neither does the mod lol - it doesn't like me I suppose! I appreciate ya doing a roll call on it Andirz

You must first collect the rewards you have already earned. Sometimes you have to wait a short while until the next step is unlocked.

This mod was awesome and worked perfectly! I appreciated the ability to finish this event without having to download custom content that the game doesn't recognize. I really hope for more mods like this for future events. Thank you so much!

Same, and I used it just yesterday, worked completely fine. Sometimes the game slows a bit as the event catches up and moves on to the next thing, but you covered that in the description(as well as that special park), so it was of no surprise. 👍 I completed the event as a whole and removed it after.
