The Abandoned Tunnels
🕑 Added 2021-06-30 18:08:56 +0000 UTCBranching exploratory tunnels breach the cavernous space of an underground lake, beyond which the roar of white water can be heard.
This natural dungeon was my recent experiment in large scale cave maps. I think it was largely successful, though I do already have some new ideas for the next one!
Within we have a large subterranean pool, still and deep and threatening. Beyond that, abandoned mining tunnels criss-crossed by natural ones. Mushrooms and other plant life are creeping in from above and below, and no doubt there are other living things creeping about...
The "Transition" map variant combines with:
- North: Cavern Fungiwood
- South: Roaring Falls
- East: Damp Mine and Exterior
- West: Thermal Mines Part 1 and Part 2
