I have been collaborating with the Cursed Crypt team to start the Mimic’s Grid Kickstarter, which I can finally share it with you all.
I’ll leave the talking to the Kickstarter page but in short, Mimic’s Grid is an “any-erase, no-stain, magnetic game tile.” If all goes well with the Kickstarter I hope to craft a huge collection of magnetic tiles, textures and props utilizing these magical magnets. If that sounds like something you want to see, please consider making a pledge!

It did! I believe they're busy fulfilling Kickstarter order still, but it will be available for regular purchase some day.

I would back this project in a heartbeat if it were offered in hex. I long for the day when people realize they can break free of the four-walled prison of the square!
I agree - just because someone else couldn't do it doesn't mean this will fail. Quite the opposite I feel

That would be cool although I am not sure I could back it no matter what they did, unless they helped me win the lottery...lol. It is interesting to note that after seeing your post and checking out their KS I went and looked up the previous company homepage blog, and what did I find out but the website is completely shut down.

That's fair, Bruce. Please don't feel compelled to back it if you would be uncomfortable doing so. I've seen some video of the production process and been rather involved in the planning, so I have sufficient confidence to share it here. Your skepticism is warranted though, and I'll see if the Cursed Crypt team can do anything to garner more faith.

I am a little skeptical about backing first time creators. Also, if you didn't know there was a very similar idea a few years back (with a new creator) and the company kept coming up with excuses and what not from issues they were having, and in the end nothing has been delivered. This one sounds a lot like that kickstarter from years ago.
