Very true. Between Chris Perkins and Matt Mercer the underdark is getting a lot of spotlight too. Caves are also something I want to improve at, so this sounds like a good undertaking.

For non-buildings, a collection of caves/tunnels that can modularly connect would be cool, especially with how much underdark the recent 5e adventure has.

The only thing missing to build a city now... is an empty city!! We would need streets, alleys and plots of lands to place those buildings.

Unfortunately Out of the Abyss is lacking in the battlemap department. Nothing for the keelboats and nothing for random encounters. They have maps for all the cities and the Underdark region map, but otherwise us DMs are on our own!

I'm easing off the buildings for a bit but these are excellent ideas for later! A modular castle gets my imagination churning, and how can a wizard's tower not be fun?

My own players just got their hands on something similar! I wonder, does Out of the Abyss have a map already? I wouldn't want to deviate too much (mostly concerning scale).

I'd like to see a tall tower, maybe a guards tower or a wizards tower? It would also be cool to see a "castle" series with several sets that connect (castle walls/towers, courtyard, and keep). I just downloaded all your maps and put together the blacksmith today, really happy with it!

I liked the Japanese Warship map. What about another boat, say, a keelboat? Maybe an Underdark themed map? Why yes, I am running Out of the Abyss.
