I really like the steps from the base of the canyon. Should a party member survive the fall off the bridge, this provides a method and sort of a time frame for them to get back into the encounter. (That is if there isn't nasties waiting down below to feed on falling adventurers, and then you truly are a evil DM indeed). Excellent detail!
