I know there were some of you that were not pleased by the route I took, but having pondered several alternatives, this was the best option to fit in with the rest of the stories.
It is simply almost inevitable that Pettigrew will escape without deviating so far from canon and creating a series of events that would be completely ridiculous.
I considered having Voldemort come across Bertha Jorkins and possessing her, but decided against it as she would serve no purpose, not the same way Quirrell did at least.
Jorkins is insignificant and holds no influence or position of worth.
With that being said, I do not believe I have ever steered you wrong in any of my stories, and I can assure you that the pay off will be worth it.

Nice chapter with Hagrid, RIP Robbie Coltrane. The interactive b/w Harry, the Minister's and Malfoys was done really well and I hope we get a competent Fudge later down the line. Cassie is like a grandma, so surely she would want Harry to have a father figure. Lastly, I liked the scene with Albus and Moody, as it felt organic and could've easily fit into canon with how well the dialogue was written. Anyway, thank you for the chapter Mr McCusker and I look forward to the next one.

Hey, did not comment on the previous chapter, but I have to react to what you wrote. Was the previous chapter unexpected and wild? Yes it was and I loved it, expected to Peter to escape and and everyone behaved like you would expect them to. Hope Remus and Hagrid are ok and that Harry may meet them some day. Also love this Harry and his interactions with his friends(especially Lucinda, hoping they will get together btw) and Victor, what an annoying git. Keep up the good work! Going to read this chapter now.
