In the aftermath of the war, and the revelations that followed, Albus Dumbledore could trust no one, and certainly not with the care of Harry Potter. With no other choice, the boy was placed with his muggle relatives.
Albus, however, had not considered that there was indeed a better option, one that he would not approve of, but would be exactly what Harry needed...

As much as I like and voted for this plot concept, what really sold me after reading the prologue is how this ties in to an alternate timeline for when the roses bloom again. As if harry never went back and albus was forced to shoulder the burden of gellert, now mix his influence with the steadfast supporter cass raising harry with their morals and outlook. Wow is Harry going to be a treat when he attends school and returns to britain. Im very curious to see how this develops, what friendships harry will form, bonds to creatures and objects, and the possible pairings .. i always hope for a fleur pairing but i feel like there will be a certain amount of pressure to court a pureblood of some sort. I just hope in the end harry retains that darker outlook and reputation for his personality .. looking forward to this and good work on the minerva/harry story!
