Another Update - Taking a break
🕑 Added 2024-08-11 22:50:21 +0000 UTCHey everyone, the past month or so has been incredibly stressful for a number of reasons. Some obvious, some not so much. Despite my best efforts, I've found myself hitting a wall.
Since I started my Patreon I've kept as consistent of an upload schedule as I could. Think I did a fairly good job all things considered! But working a full time job along side other odd jobs, the candle has essentially been tossed into the fire, let alone using the wicks.
I know some people may think, "What's so hard about sitting at a desk making 3D women grow?". Truth is, it's not 'hard', but the only reason I can look at it as easy is because I had a passion for it. Lately though I found myself just staring at the open programs, struggling to even picture the next scene in my head let alone be excited for what I was making. Then after breaking my ankle/leg, and being laid up in bed more than 90% of the day for nearly a month, I've been drained, ironically. Laying around doing nothing is actually the worst thing for my mental health.
So I'm taking a break from Patreon, I've already paused payments for September, and have reminders set for October should I decide to go further. I'm not disappearing completely, if you're on the Discord, I'll still be there and hope you stick around too! I've been playing around with game dev as a way to keep my brain moving, so I'll make a channel to post things there sometimes. Plenty of other Discords I'll be floating around in for sure. But mainly, I'm just stepping back, and letting my brain recharge. My ADHD has gone unchecked for a few too many years and I think I'll take some time to get that checked out as well.
I'm sorry to everyone though, about not completing the current stories. I promise I won't abandon them, but it will be a bit before they continue. Again, it's not really good bye, I'm just taking a time-out while I get things back to how they should be.

Yeah I totally get that. As others said before me, it is important to take care of yourself prior to whatโs what. I know youโll return when you feel better about everything. Wish it was sooner as I am loving these stories, but your health is more important. Take care of yourself while you are able to and hope to see an update in the coming days/months. Iโll be in the shadows, rooting for a speedy and healthy recovery ๐

I probably should make a post about my plans, but truth is I don't have anything strong planned yet. I'd like to return to creating, just getting past some real life burnout at the moment. And the leg is doing well, but you could call it the bone that broke the camels back for last year
