I typed a bunch, thought about it, typed n erased and thought more, then erased it all and started over after I came to the careful conclusion that I do not believe it counts on its own, no. Beach day includes multiple activities but torrent riding is through a town so you can't really just set up shop like for a picnic or other games and such. Does that town torrent riding happens in have a lake? If it does and the lake is appropriate for swimming and having a small party on its shores, then torrent riding + lake activities could make it a proper beach day together.
