A crack of thunder illuminated the devastated city below.
Explosions roared like the wrath of gods, endless shockwaves rippling through streets that had only recently bustled with life.

The whole city was consumed by a sea of fire.
Towers of flame rose into the sky, darkening the horizon.

“C.C.! We have to go! We cannot let Chiyou reach Shenzhou!”
Fu Hua’s hand landed on her shoulder, her expression turning grim.

That was already shocking enough.
Now, the Fourth Eruption had unmistakably occurred—marked by the birth of the Third Herrscher: the Herrscher of Thunder.
That meant the Fourth Eruption was real.
But no one expected it to come so soon after the last one.
Just look at the gaps between the First, Second, and Third Eruptions—decades apart!
