This arc good but if you compared it to the first yoshiwara arc, for me they have a big gap. The 1st one has all the shocking factors mostly (kamui introduction, kagura snaps) compared to hosen, jiraia also didn't give much impression, love the b/w fight scenes though. also glad you've been sharp about every ginsan and his sensei scenes. About the shogun, they will elaborate more on laaaater (badass) eps. Can't wait for the next (mini) arc. Pls do watch the OP and ED :D

You remember at the beginning of this series(ep 13 or 14)? When Gin had to go save Kagura and Shinpachi from the space pirates after he got stabbed. Gintoki talks to Katsura about the burden of caring(carrying a heavy load on your shoulders): "It's only after it slips out of your hands you realize how heavy it was *flashes to wartimes*. I never thought I would carry that load again. Yet, before I realized it *flashes to the odd jobs trio* I was carrying it again. I'd feel so much better if I just got rid of it, but I can't bring myself to do it. Walking around wouldn't be fun anymore." And here we are with a man who has similar feelings as Gintoki, Tsukuyo's master. Yet he chooses the easy way out, not carrying that heavy load of caring/protecting people. Choosing to be all alone because he is too scared.. I love Gintama.
