This month, we delve into the tenacity of those who till and defend their homes, and the precise engineering of those who master the deep places. Prepare to welcome units that represent the very backbone of their hosts and the stark realities of war.
From the Anglo-Saxon fields come free men ready for the fray, leaders forged in duty, and structures that are the heart of any settlement. And from the deep-set halls of the Murnazdruld, the dwarves unleash their siege engines and their specialists in carving paths where only stone once stood.
THE ADVENTURER – JUNE The Anglo-Saxon Heart: Duty of the Ceorl
Guardians of Their Land: Saxon Ceorls Free men and landowners, the foundation of any Anglo-Saxon host, bound by the duty to defend their own. They are simply clad, yet carry their shields and weapons with the firmness of those who know freedom's price. Essential, resolute infantry.
The Shield Wall's Surge: Ceorls in Attack The same Ceorls, an instant before impact. This unit captures the transformation of the defensive line into a shock force, with dynamic poses and the tension of imminent combat etched on their faces. Ideal for depicting your warriors' moment of breaking enemy ranks.
The Realm's Sustenance: Saxon Granary A central piece for any settlement or rural battlefield. This wooden granary on stone staddles is not just scenery but a strategic objective, representing the food that sustains armies and folk.

THE BANNERMAN – JUNE Ingenuity, Fury, and Iron Oaths of the Murnazdruld
Sentence from Afar: Dwarf Bolt Thrower A war machine designed to bring down targets at great distance with lethal precision, be they winged beasts or enemy fortifications. Includes its crew of Dwarf operators and equipment, with a robust design that commands respect.
The Master of the Machine: Dwarf Engineer The practical professional whose focus is the flawless function of his war engines. Ideal as a master gunner or sapper coordinator, ensuring dwarven efficacy on the field.
The Pathcarvers: Murnazdruld Sappers Heirs to a long mining tradition, these dwarves now apply their knowledge of stone to the art of war. Essential for breaching obstacles and carving assault tunnels, their hardiness is legendary.
Fanatical Fury: Fists of Karn (Dwarven Berserkers) Rejecting ancestral armor and shield wall discipline, these dwarves fight with a savage faith in their prophet, Karn. Dispossessed youths, they find purpose in their leader's fevered gaze, hurling themselves into battle like a torrent, axes thirsty, "Karn!" their only war-cry. They are blind faith forged into a weapon.
The Echo of Iron: Khargrun Skullclaw Not all dwarves find honor in death; Khargrun bears the shame of surviving when his kin fell. For each lost comrade, an iron nail hammered into his own skull—a visible, perpetual penance. He seeks no forgiveness, only an end among the Fists of Karn, where his guilt-fueled fury sets a brutal rhythm even other zealots must follow.
The Host's Belly: Barrel Wagon A versatile and essential element for any dwarven host on campaign. Drawn by oxen, its barrels might carry vital water, flammable oil, or cherished dwarven ale, adding depth to your marching columns.
The Sinews of War: Supply Wagon This piece represents the logistics that sustain any prolonged war effort. Laden with tools, spares, and rations, it is indispensable for engineers and sappers, or a vital objective in narrative scenarios.
