🕑 Added 2018-02-26 00:37:28 +0000 UTC So, I created this messy afro hairstyle by editing my bun from my Milana Hair and adding an alpha hairline, and I'm really not sure what to think of it, so I want to hear your opinions!As I'm sure a lot of you already know, creating curly hair in this game is something that's almost impossible to do, which is very saddening. There's 2 main things that prevent this from happening, which is the high number of polygons that can make your game slower, and the fact that they need to be in "Clay" style, instead of Alpha, which not everyone enjoys. The only way to do it would be to create "fake curls", which I've done in the past (Alessia, Kai & Luna hairs), but I hated how they looked, because it looked too flat...
That's why I haven't been making a lot of curly hairstyles lately, because I know a lot of you enjoy them very much. I'm still not happy with the way this hairstyle looks, but for now at least, it's what can be done best. As always, I intend to improve and get better, so I just want to know what are your thoughts on this! β₯

I'm not sure what you mean by "IMVU texture", but if you mean non-alpha, this hair will be a mix of both, the curls are non alpha, but the hairline and babyhairs are alpha :)

Thank you very much β₯ Thankfully this one is not as high poly, so it should run good on every computer, there's other creators like Leah or Darko who are making simple hairs with the same poly or higher, and they all seem to run fine for everyone!

Yes it's clay style, meaning it has no transparency! It's the only way for these kind of hairs to work π But in game looks just like the picture, so It's a matter of trying and seeing if you like it or not! :)

Unfortunately for 3D curls, adding a texture like the Luna hair won't look very good! :(
I absolutely LOVE your Luna hair (as I'm sure you can tell from my profile pic). I think this afro hairstyle would look amazing in the same texture as Luna. I don't feel it looks flat at all!

Gorgeous, and honestly there are so few curly hairstyles (the ones you call "fake") that I enjoy everything. Anything to bring more diversity! But I feel your frustration! Hopefully one day it won't be so hard to create/run curly hair. Maybe create a high poly section only for computers that can run it? Idk how that works.. haha but thank you for all your hard work! Everything is beautiful, a true artist
