You might have noticed that I've put this new post on my blog instead of embedding it a Patreon post. That's because these posts are a lot of work, I don't want to lose them, and I do want to be able to share them easily if I like.
The Patreon post editor sucks, especially for working on ~3,000-word posts like these. Even if I copy-paste from another app, I still have to format the text and insert images and this editor doesn't make it easy. More importantly, there is currently no way to export posts from Patreon. So if I ever want to jump to a different platform, exporting these posts (which are valuable to me!) will be difficult. My Squarespace-hosted blog is not the perfect picture of portable content, but it's better than Patreon.
Also, hopefully the reading experience is nicer than using either your email client or… shudder… the Patreon app.
The blog post (and the "secret" blog it is a part of) are not linked-to publicly. If you could please keep it secret, I would appreciate it. Thank you!

I am ashamed to say I have not yet deciphered what you wrote in my alphabet. I thought it would be a nice thing to do when sick in bed someday, but the few times I've been sick since then, I've been far too brain-dead to try anything like that ... FWIW, I feel like you made The Pillars of Hercules specifically for me, and as the intended audience I give it two BIG thumbs up!

Lovely as always! I didn't even consider the idea that they were aging... All of your intentions came across really well in this book. Even the "too clever" ship scene seems like justified chaos, since that moment would be fragmented in reality. Two notes: - Naturally we need a special edition with Sarah's cipher in the back. - Rice cookers can be used in a myriad of ways!
