I will always prefer the original intro, I guess it's because I grew up watching the original series.

Matthew Dunne

Pfft, the Scots wish. Over there, making one of their kings the ancestor of the the English royal line. We Irish, we have a deep sadness to us.

The Mosco hair duck

"We're friends, you beautiful idiot!" Love this line. Love their friendship. Any time we get Webby and Lena in an episode, I'm happy. I'm sure you've already watched Mosco's reaction to this episode by this point. It's a classic!

John Bossert

i remember Mosco reacting to this episode and i commented "So Mosco what part of Ireland are you from? lol" and she responded "I. Will. Cut. you. " i laughed at that so hard

This was a fun episode. We got more Lena and Magica, the boys being fun and silly in the vault, and some Moscoe cameos. You two are adorable lol Also I like Scrooge, but he can lose a little money. As a treat to the townsfolk. He'll get it back in an adventure.

I would like to correct some of Huey's shark facts, just because I can't help myself: He's right that sharks never run out of teeth (they also can't get cavities), but they do not have the strongest jaws on the planet, as orcas and big crocodiles both have stronger jaws, and his wording is that 'hundreds of shark attacks happen each year', the truth is closer to A hundred, as in one hundred, not hundred[s] plural...and out of those attacks, only about six are lethal.

David Johnson

Catherine Tate played Donna Nobel, one of the Companions for David Tennant's run of Doctor Who...the best one of them, in most people's opinion. Canonically, Scrooge has three cubic acres of cash...so he's probably fine.

Another thing, Magica’s voice actress, Catherine Tate co-starred in Doctor Who with David Tennant. So this was actually a bit of a reunion for them.

Ryan

Just use the punchline from The Love Bug: “Coney Ireland.”

Liam Gradwell

“What part of Ireland are you from?” Elijah’s mind: Must text Tomota to use that to mess with Mosco. 🤣 Oh Elijah you evil genius. It’s a good thing Mosco loves you so much. 💜

Merlock is a reference to the Ducktales movie from 1990. Merlock was the villain in that movie. Absolutely no relation to Lena or Magica.

Ryan

This was a bit of a polarizing episode, just because of the sudden change in Magica’s personality. The idea is supposed to be she’s getting stronger by proximity to Scrooge and has more energy to act like her real self, but a lot of fans had really liked her serious, intimidating portrayal before this and were disappointed that she was now much more comedic. Though there were plenty more, mainly long time Catherine Tate fans, who were into her getting to use her comedy skills.
