Reunion

Also this is the only form of Stardust Crusaders media where Kakyoin's defeat is treated as a mystery. Normally, Dio's time stop is revealed before he gets punched and blown away. Personally, I like this version better because you the viewer feel like you're trying to figure out the stand with him.

I shall be releasing an extra video on this soon as I didn't include it in the episode reactions! :D cant wait! :D

please watch the opening and ending for the last episodes! the jojo openings really reveal themselves at the end of the season, when you finally get to understand every little thing in it, and they often have slight changes for the last few episodes (even more so in the next parts if you plan on watching them), so it's a big part of the jojo experience :)

Reunion

Kakyoin's backstory always hits me so hard even though it's so short and simple. JoJo fans have a saying about him: 17 years of loneliness, 50 days of friendship.

If you're wondering why DIO stops time for like 30 seconds - he doesn't, talking is just a free action in Jojo's. It's one of those things that's not easy to translate from the manga, where an entire panel can be filled with DIO's speech but otherwise not much else happens while time is stopped
