No lynching here. I agree. I'm thinking there should be a rule that every person who's eligible has to suggest one non-MLP character so there's a better pool overall (I was hoping to address this to kevin himself but you can't reply to creator comments on mobile for bizarre reasons).

I like the idea of themed months. I have been saving some spare cash so I could suggest for a month so I could see your take Hyperlight Drifter. I think seeing different kinds of characters would be refreshing and would eventually inspire more interest in your art.

I like the OC month idea. It'll give a lot more variety to the pinups and it'll be easier to get a non-mlp character there. And before you stop drawing ponies on pinups, I have to make you draw Whoa Nelly. I'll pull all the necessary strings :V

You could combine several of the ideas being tossed around... for instance, every quarter have an OC month and a non-MLP month every six months. Sort of a character theme schedule.

I mean, it might? I don’t really see it happening, but I technically wouldn’t have an issue with it. It wouldn’t happen under the current rule set, that much is clear.

We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it. It’s part of the reason why the cooldown list exists, but it hasn’t shown itself to be very effective, so OC month might be the interlude to some changes I might have to enact.

OC only would be cool, I fear being lynched but how about a non-MLP month? Don't get me wrong, I love the MLP stuff and you do it so well, but there have been other characters suggested which I was more excited for but knew would never stand a chance. Yes, I know the occasional one gets through but it's the exception rather than the rule.

As someone who commissions far too many OC pictures, I wholly support OC only month. I'd suggest OCtober if it weren't already hallowe'en then.
