This is just a transcription of the name in my native language. Something like "forest girl". The same as the "mermaid". It sounds like a "rusalka" in my area, but they don't look much like classic sea mermaids, so I'll use the transcription as well.

I was curious about "lisnytsis" since I hadn't heard of them before. I found a reference on Wikipedia when I searched for Лісниці that sounds a bit like povitrulya. Are they different names for the same thing, I wonder?
