Sunday dev screencap (week 48)
🕑 Added 2018-12-02 22:20:32 +0000 UTC So, this week has largely been about upgrading and adding features related to scenes. The faceset system has gotten a makeover, and so we have recoded the scenes in the prologue, along with adding some new ones.Since showing a screenshot of an old scene that we have recoded would be a bit anticlimactic, and new faceset scenes with Aden would be too similar to one we showed a couple of weeks back, I figured I would instead record a little bit of one of the first Cantamille scenes.
In the video (sorry about the poor quality btw) you can see one of the new features we have added, which is automatic pathfinding movement, which is how all the NPCs can run around like that without colliding. This is also used in other scenarios, like for example the NPC I just added that after you untie her runs to the pub without risking being stopped by other NPCs or the player.
We have also added other movement features, but pathfinding is easily the most noticeable one.
Oh, and don't mind the badger. He's just there for bugtesting reasons.
