Comparing this to the previous WIP really shows your attention to detail. I don't think this is disappointing at all. This piece really pops off the page

You do it the right way. Better slow and steady with high quality pictures than rushing yourself and risking burnout. Plus, there's always something one could have done better. Seeing what can be improved is the first step to doing it better next time.
