IMPORTANT CHANGES (EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 2022)
🕑 Added 2022-03-30 00:53:18 +0000 UTCHi Patrons,
I wanted to get this information to you ASAP because it will affect tiers and pledges starting April 1. I will be posting a video announcement tomorrow on Youtube for everyone to hear about the details, and I'll definitely post that here first so you can have some more context.
For now, in short, I am going to be taking an extended leave of absence starting in April. I am struggling with what I now recognize as burnout, and I need to take a few months away (at least until the end of August) to re-discover my intrinsic motivation for my work. The burnout and exhaustion I'm feeling is serious enough to call into question my ability to continue running my business, so in an effort to be able to do my work in a more sustainable way, taking a break is the best thing for Naked in Motion right now.
The break will be open ended, though, so I can't promise if or when I'll return. I think it's highly likely that I'll reconnect with my passion and return to Naked in Motion ready and excited to do great things, but in order for that to be truly consensual, I need to reconnect with the option to stop, or do something different. I understand this might be a shock, and potentially disappointing, and I really wish things were different.
The video that I post tomorrow will explain more details, but here's what you need to know about the major change that I'll be making with my Patreon page:
- I'm not shutting down our page, I just won't produce any new content at all...no update videos, no private clients (in person or online). I took a "break" last year, but I worked through the whole thing, so now I need to actually take a break.
- I will unpublish the tiers that you're currently on this Wednesday or Thursday so that nobody else can join on them. However, you will still be signed up as a patron at the same amount and still have access to the whole library, no matter the tier.
- Everyone is getting everything. I'm going to create one "Pay What You Can" tier with guidelines on what the suggested pledge is based on your income, but EVERYONE WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THE ENTIRE LIBRARY OF CONTENT. Even if you took a class or reviewed a tutorial every day, I don't think you'd be done by August. It'll be like I never left!
- I do hope you re-pledge on our page because I'll continue to pay all the bills required to keep the entity of Naked in Motion, and so that if I do return, I won't have to start over from scratch with the website, etc. Also, because there's a lot of good stuff on there, and I honestly think you'll benefit from it.
Thank you all for your endless support. For those of you who have been with us for years, or since the beginning, I have no words to express my gratitude. I don't know if this is goodbye or a temporary BRB, but I really hope we can continue this work together in the future.
Love, Willow

All the best Willow. I hope the break is rejuvenating for you. Completely understandable about burnout. Thanks for being a great teacher.
