Naked! Chair Yoga for the Visually-Impaired/Blind
🕑 Added 2021-05-30 02:04:00 +0000 UTCHey Patrons,
I'm going to start posting Naked! Class Audio file where I'll cater my teaching style specifically to be more accessible for folks who are blind or visually impaired. This is a new project I'm working on, and I welcome feedback as I slowly start to incorporate this new technique.
I'VE ATTACHED A .OGG FILE OF THE RECORDING TO THIS POST so that you can download it and use it on external reading devices.
To be honest, it's not that much different than the way I teach Absolute Beginners, so even if you're a seeing person and just starting out in yoga, this class might work well for you.
This class is done seated in a stable chair, ideally a folding metal/plastic or wooden chair that is open on three sides, plus the back of the chair, and I recommend having the chair close to a wall for support.
Viewer (listener) discretion is advised. You are responsible for knowing your limits! Remember to always listen to your body and make decisions that work for you. Skip anything you want and take breaks when you need to. If something hurts, stop. Remember, more is not better, it's just MORE.
