Yeah, agree. :/ Especially when you have zero interest in the game, seeing every artist on every platform jump on the art train. I understand it’s trending/popular and the character designs are nice, but it’s only that for me, there’s no connection/interest to the characters themselves. I like how Ria has always focused on FF7 art despite it not always being trending, and that’s why I’ve been a fan for all these years.
