Chapter 174 Fierce Fighting, Go Up

Dark clouds blanketed the sky over Asgard, churning like the end of days. Lightning flashed through the storm, crackling with divine fury, filling the air with oppressive tension.
Beneath the storm stood a towering figure — the horse-faced Thor, arcs of electricity dancing across his body. In his left hand he held Mjolnir, and in his right, the Stormbreaker. His gaze locked onto the golden-red Iron Man armor hovering in front of him.

The faceplate of the armor lifted, revealing Allens inside. His eyes gleamed with interest as he looked at the horse-faced Thor floating before him.
To be honest, this was the first time Allens had ever seen a horse-faced version of Thor — in any life. After all, this was the MCU — the Marvel Cinematic Universe — and there had never been such a Thor in it.
But with his brain enhanced a thousandfold, Allens quickly deduced the reason. It had to be connected to the Quantum Realm.
“Shit… are you Allens?”
Thor’s eyes widened in surprise when the faceplate opened. That armor clearly belonged to Tony Stark — yet the person inside wasn’t him.
“Brainiac Allens? Bullshit! Don’t tell me Allens killed Tony Stark already? Damn it! I wanted to be the one to do that… Ugh, this is getting complicated.”
Rocket Raccoon’s jaw dropped as he muttered and shrugged, his pointed ears twitching.
According to the data Dr. Bruce Banner had shared, Rocket knew exactly who he was dealing with — Allens, the smartest man on Earth.
Banner had even said that if Allens fully unlocked his brain’s potential, his intelligence would surpass even the Kree Empire’s Supreme Intelligence.
“Allens!” the horse-faced Thor growled, his voice booming through the storm. “You dare invade Asgard? Today, I’ll take your head and use it for a kickball!”
Before Rocket could even react, Thor swung Mjolnir and vanished in a blur of lightning, closing the distance of hundreds of meters in a blink.
Boom!
He appeared in front of Allens instantly, raising the Stormbreaker high as thunder roared around him, then brought it crashing down with divine might.
Swish!
But the axe passed clean through Allens — as if his body were made of smoke.
“Sir, the phasing module has been activated,” reported J.A.R.V.I.S inside the armor.
When Thor had charged, the AI had already enabled the phasing protocol.
“What the hell—?” Thor’s eyes widened. Before he could react, a surge of electromagnetic force exploded from Allens’ right hand.
Boom!
The shockwave caught Thor midair and hurled him into a nearby building. The impact shattered the wall, sending dust and lightning flying as Thor crashed to the ground, coughing blood.
“What terrifying power…” he muttered, clutching his chest. Even the Hulk couldn’t injure him like this — yet Allens had just done it with one hit.
Buzz... buzz...
Thor staggered up, lightning still crackling in his eyes. Mjolnir flew back to his hand, and he hurled it with all his might.
Boom!
An energy shield flickered to life from Allens’ right arm, blocking the strike. He raised his left hand, activating another system — the Energy Manipulation Module.
Thunder surged in Allens’ palm as he caught Stormbreaker mid-swing. Lightning clashed between divine and artificial power. Then, Thor recalled Mjolnir, slamming it into Allens’ chest —
“Energy absorption module active,” J.A.R.V.I.S. announced. “Divine lightning being converted to power.”
The diamond-shaped arc reactor on Allens’ chest pulsed violently, absorbing Thor’s lightning and converting it into energy for the armor.
Allens clenched his fist and drove it straight into Thor’s jaw — a strike imbued with raw, amplified force. Thor flew backward again, smashing into the ground.
“Hey! Horse-face! We’re supposed to be partners!” Rocket shouted, facepalming. “I like fighting solo too, but that guy’s not someone we can beat alone!”
Rocket’s mechanical arm extended, firing an electromagnetic cannon at Allens.
Peng! Peng! Peng!
Red energy pulses blasted across the battlefield, heating the air until it shimmered.
“Microwave pulse detected,” J.A.R.V.I.S. noted.
Allens grinned, activating another module. “Let’s see how you handle mine.”
Microwave energy surged outward from his armor, devouring Rocket’s attack completely, scattering the energy into harmless waves.
Rocket didn’t stop firing, while Thor — regaining his footing — raised Stormbreaker once more. With both hands, he summoned a storm and dove from the sky like a thunder god reborn.
Allens reached out with his right hand, catching the axe mid-swing.
At the same moment, Groot’s vine-like branches — now mechanical tendrils of nanotech — lashed out, wrapping around Allens’ arm in an attempt to restrain him.
Allens’ eyes narrowed. “Gamma Amplifier, activate.”
Whirr!
The armor surged with power as the Gamma-420 module came online. His arm strength multiplied instantly — and with a single motion, he hurled Thor and Stormbreaker down into the ground.
Rumble!
The earth split open from the impact. Cracks spread outward as Thor hit the ground hard, coughing blood again.
Gasping, he reached out and called Mjolnir back to his hand. The hammer flew straight at Allens, smashing into his chest and sending him skidding backward.
But Allens simply caught Mjolnir midair — and with a smirk, hurled it back.
“Let’s see how you handle that.”
The hammer slammed straight into Rocket Raccoon, pinning him to the ground like a mountain.
“F*k! Horse-face Thor! Get this damn hammer off me! I’m gonna be crushed to death!” Rocket howled, flailing beneath Mjolnir.
