Don't support me through the IOS App Store of Patreon!
🕑 Added 2025-03-24 14:02:42 +0000 UTCGood afternoon, I want to warn people especially to the people who pledged to me or about to on here as well through the IOS app store. Please do NOT use the app, pledge through the website version, Apple adds an additional charge for you, and holds my portion of the funds for 75 days. Patreon is a critical part of my monthly income and because of Apple, it's affecting creators and supporters because of Apples dumb greed. If anyone who is pledged via the app store, please unsubcribe and resubscribe via the website (I believe you can use a Web browser on your phone and turn it into computer mode)
Android users are unaffected by this.
Unfortunately I did announce something like this before, but I don't think many read it or cared
In addition, please note that Patreon is not allowed to warn people in the app against this. They are allowed to email creators, but I'm not sure about members. The reason being is Apple placed a policy in their TOS forbidding this. This is not a decision Patreon is making, it is completely on Apple.
