I’ve decided to introduce a “Back Number” system on Patreon, similar to the one I already use on Fantia.
このたび、*PatreonにもFantiaと同様の「バックナンバー制度」*を導入することにしました。
The reason is simple: I want to make things fair for everyone. Right now, all posts remain accessible even for people who subscribed very recently — and I feel that’s not fair to long-time supporters who have been with me for months.
というのも、現在は最近ご登録いただいた方でもすべての過去投稿が閲覧できる状態で、長く応援してくださっている方々にとって少し不公平なのではないかと感じたからです。
Of course, I truly appreciate every single supporter — even if you’re only here for one month, thank you so much! But I believe all members should have equal access conditions, and that means setting a time limit for how long posts stay unlocked.
もちろん、1ヶ月だけのご支援であっても本当に感謝しています。ですが、すべてのメンバーの皆さんに平等な条件でコンテンツを楽しんでいただけるようにしたいと思いました。
Here’s how it will work:
Posts from August will become unavailable in the first week of September.
Please make sure to download anything you want to keep before then!
Posts from May, June and July will become paid back numbers starting next Monday, August 11.
So if you’d like to save those posts, please do so before Monday.
今後は以下のように運用していきます：
8月の投稿は、9月の最初の週に非公開となります。
必要な投稿は、それまでにぜひダウンロードして保存しておいてください！
5月、6月と7月の投稿は、8月11日（月）から有料のバックナンバー扱いとなります。
なので、来週の月曜日までに保存をお願いします。

One question on this system. If I were to ever upgrade my membership, would that give me access to older posts in those higher tiers that I had missed before? Because I am thinking of doing that eventually.
