Hello folks! As some of you may remember I forfeited my personal content poll at the start of the month, cause I had to go visit my family out of state. So in lieu of that earlier content, I've poured some weekend hours into making some progress on my Breakout style game! I'd love for you to give this test build a spin, and give me your thoughts~
How to play:
- Clear out the level of any blocks, using your ball, to proceed!
- Use your mouse to control the paddle and use it to bounce the ball.
- Left- or Right-click just before the ball hits your paddle to spike the ball either left or right!
- Collect powerups (or powerdowns), successfully spike the ball, clear levels as fast as you can, and lose as few lives as you can for a high score!
- Screenshot your scores and send in the best one! Our top scorer gets a bonus sketch request (same stipulations as the usual streams)!
And finally, it is absolutely no requirement, but if you encounter any bugs, or mechanics or visuals that feel off, please share your thoughts with me. Either here, or discord, or through DMs. Your feedback is greatly valued~
There's gonna be bosses with lewd mechanics in the future, but I wanna make sure the foundation is solid before I build too much on it~
misc notes: there's currently 5 levels in the game, and should take roughly 7-10min to complete.

I have a rough idea what's causing this. I'll see if I can post a fixed version soon

Also it might just be in my head but it feels like the physics really favor the left side. Without right clicking the ball will almost always go left or straight up.

My mouse became visible on the side of the screen for a brief moment, and when I clicked my ball just floated up slowly offscreen. I had to restart because the ball never came back down - I was stuck.
