Tobio’s panic and Tooru’s despair for Shouyou is so real here. You never cease to amaze me with how well you bring out the emotions in their faces, and how truly REAL it all feels. It makes my heart hurt in so many ways, and I love it, even as I weep over it. The description of the reason behind the omega drop is so utterly heartbreaking. That Shouyou feels that level of rejection from Tobio is just devastating and the tender way Tobio looks at him, the way he’s like, “did I hurt you?” Because he truly doesn’t understand, just brings me to tears. But the little thing that I love most is the love that Tooru has for him. The forward thinking he has to bring Shouyou’s nest materials. To know that he might need them and to just have the answers to all Shouyou’s needs because he CARES. And he even cares about Tobio and about them together… I am weak for all of this, but it’s the little things that make me love it all the more.
