I love how the conversation here took such an odd turn LOL. I would be in Aran’s shoes - wondering where this was going after having a sword in my face. My favorite thing here is that Toya’s justification for sparing him seemingly boils down to him giving him candy and while I’m sure it’s deeper than that, on the service I love the idea of Toya deeming someone worthy of being spared for something as simple as having a candy he likes.
