This is so heartbreaking because of all the sudden onslaught of emotion that Tobio goes through, the intensity of the fear, so great that he immediate thinks of his grandfather’s funeral. It’s that worry that’s lost Shouyou so completely that has him rushing and unable to draw a breath until Oikawa tells him to and the fact that Oikawa senses that instantly is just a testament to who he is and the empath he is and I’m dying over all of it. The injury involved his leg being so significant to volleyball too, and that being a whole different emotional aspect… I am shattering all over again for this poor boys.
