not a dumb question at all!! their screenshot says: “Before we go any further, we want to be crystal clear about one thing: Apple's fee will not impact your existing members. It will only affect new memberships purchased in the iOS app from November onward.” and it’s reiterated again in another screenshot that says: “This only impacts new members - nothing will change for existing members.” so yes, you’re correct! only if you’re a new member subscribing through the app

Plutooo

So if I’m already subscribed and have been subscribed for a while, the price for me wouldn’t change this upcoming November, is that correct? (Sorry if that sounds like a dumb question, I just want to make sure Im understanding correctly)

mars

i saw another creator post about this too, so for anyone still worried/confused: this only applies to NEW memberships made through the app!! it doesn’t effect existing memberships :)

Wait, I'm a tad confused 😕 Does that mean that, even if we subscribed using paypal, if it was on the IOS patreon app, they're trying to get a fee ? Or is it if we're using the apple wallet ?
