when making a personal coffee can portfolio how much attention do you give to sector weightings? I am using some stocks I have owned for awhile and adding new ones. Its pretty heavy in energy. I have been making my new additions in other sectors. Do you have a sector rule of thumb or do you think its fine just to pick stocks that meet my buying criteria? Thanks for all your great content! I bought multiple copies of your book and gave them to family members.

Good Morning, I would like to know on the coffee can portfolio, I've listened a few times. You are buying X amount of dollars in each stock at the beginning of the month. Those are the same stocks every month and they don't change? It's buy and hold forever. Thanks!

Seems like a great opportunity to pick your brain! - How do you rate cyclical companies that don't necessarily raise their dividend in a straight line, but pay an increasing dividend with each cyclical upswing? Is it worth holding these companies in the long term (for the sake of diversification and exposure to the industry), even in the cyclical lows when dividend is low? NEM and SCCO for example. - how essential are REITs to the dividend growth strategy and is there a way to effectively value them? All the best!
