My husband had to have two of his teeth extracted (he got an abscess this weekend, got it drained monday, and today had the teeth yanked), so there was some running around this morning, and I get stressed whenever I leave the house now because my lungs suck and everything is on fire.
This morning my Uncle Mark unexpectedly died. Well, I mean, his health was awful. He had a bad heart and terrible lungs--and we think his heart just gave out this morning. He lived his life hard and was not kind to his body. We argued a lot because we were very different people, but we were also both okay with that. He was also always there for my family and always did cool stuff with my kids. He didn't even yell at Bigs that time he drove a golf cart into one of Mark's sprinklers and broke it.
We loved him and he was family, and today sucks. Normally we'd already be booking flights to Mississippi to help but we can't do that. We can't do anything. And I feel bad that my mom and aunt were already sad because we lost my Great Aunt Marylou last week. I know everyone is losing family and friends right now and everything is awful, so I sort of hate to complain...but I think we can all agree that 2020 has been a real bastard of a year so far.

Thanks for sharing. It’s definitely a rough year. My uncle in Florida (haven’t seen him in years and years, but he and my dad are close) just found out he has 1-3 months to live with cancer. The really sucky part is my dad can’t even go to be with him. So much grief right now - and I know I currently have it pretty easy. Love and light to you.
