Also hi, sorry for the long delay on this. I got sick at the very start of November and stayed sicked for pretty much the whole first week of the month. It completely threw me off my groove. Or what little groove I had and I've been struggling to get back on it since.
Needless to say the plan is to hopefully have the next page out before the end of the month and just call this a 2 page month and get back on schedule. If I can't do that I'll pause for December and post 2 pages then. Let's see if I can pull it off though.

The whole amount of emotions Mack is expressing just by looking away while Felix says all that... I've had this "it's an impossible, ill-fated love" hunch since many pages ago, and I can't help but think that Mack is feeling the same there :'(

Owww this is really pulling at tmy heartstrings. I get that Felix does have his selfish reasons for wanting Mack to stay but hes very much right. Its not actually very realistic for Mack to try and make the journey on his own hes just gonna keep getting stuck in reservoirs over and over. But its not fair to Mack either...

I'm going to go rewatch "The Emperor's New Groove" and "Kronk's New Groove" and I'll give you my notes on how to find a new groove lol. I can't tell you how much emotion this page gives me. Felix has gone through all these negative emotions since he woke up alone in the collapsing house, and since Mac showed up again, Felix has stayed quiet and passive aggressive. We were in the dark as much as Mac with no idea what was really going on in Felix's head. If he even wanted Mac around anymore. So for Felix to say all this. To express that he has a deep caring for Mac and doesn't want him to keep doggedly jumping down dams with no assurance he'll get anywhere. And even beyond that. That Felix will continue to think about Mac even after he's gone says a lot for how much Felix cares about him. ๐ Writing can be very difficult, especially when the writing needs to be brief and not overpower the visuals in a comic form. I think you're doing an incredible job. If you'd ever like a beta reader (or another one if you have some already), I'd be happy to help!
