As she wandered down a quieter side street, her eyes caught on a peculiar shopfront she hadn’t noticed before. The sign above the door read, “The Hypnosis Christmas Shop” in looping, glittering letters. Intrigued and a little desperate, Alina decided to investigate.
The bell above the door jingled as she stepped inside. The air was warm, filled with the faint scent of cinnamon and something else she couldn’t place—something intoxicating. Shelves lined with unusual trinkets and shimmering ornaments surrounded her. At the counter stood a girl about her age, her striking green eyes framed by dark lashes and a cascade of auburn curls. She wore a mischievous smirk, as if she already knew every secret Alina had ever kept.
“Looking for something special?” the girl asked, her voice soft but commanding.
Alina nodded, sighing. “It’s for my girlfriend, Anastasia. I’ve looked everywhere, but I can’t find anything... perfect. She deserves something... magical.”
The girl’s smirk deepened. “Magical, you say? I think I have just the thing.” She reached beneath the counter and pulled out a small glass vial filled with a shimmering, iridescent liquid. “But first, you look exhausted. Let me get you something to drink.”
Before Alina could protest, the girl disappeared into a back room, returning moments later with a steaming cup of tea. “Here. It’s my special recipe. It’ll help you relax.”
Gratefully, Alina took the cup and sipped. The warmth spread through her body instantly, soothing her aching muscles and clearing her mind. She led Alina to the living room rug, the Christmas tree casting shadows across the room. With a sharp command, Anastasia told Alina to kneel again. The ribbons slipped and fluttered to the floor as Alina obeyed, leaving her fully exposed. Anastasia knelt behind her, pressing her body against Alina’s back, her hands skimming over Alina’s arms before gripping her wrists.
“You look so perfect like this,” Anastasia murmured into Alina’s ear, her breath warm against her skin. “Completely vulnerable. Completely mine.”
