2020 Resolutions
🕑 Added 2020-01-08 00:26:15 +0000 UTCOkay, I'm going to be honest, I think New Year's resolutions are kinda passé. However, I do have hopes and benchmarks for what I would like to accomplish before the year is up. There's been an overall sense of there's a light at the end of the tunnel going on in America and maybe I'm catching a bit of the "maybe the world won't implode within in the next four years" fever. Whether I'm being delusional or not, I've made a check list for 2020. Maybe you guys have a 2020 to-do list as well. I'd love to hear what's on it! Anyway, here's my list of goals for 2020:
1. Create more vlogging content- I have a YouTube channel just sitting around and I'd like to maybe start an opinion vlog (wow, life-changing, I know). If you guys have any ideas on future content, post them down below.
2. Do at least 2 hard-core showstopper cosplays- I do a lot of small builds that fit my comfort zone and skill level. I want to break that cycle and challenge myself. Kinda already doing that with Aloy, BUT the catch is finishing her and being satisfied with the result. Maybe I'll even enter into a cosplay contest and try to get some coin?
3. Travel more- There's a lot of the great state of California (and surrounding states) that I have not explored. I've always been an advocate of exploring my own backyard for photoshoot locations and I want to expand those into road trips to nature preserves, monuments, and points of interest in the US. These excursions would be blogged and shared with all of you.
4. Be IRL social- It's easy for me to text my friends and comment on their posts, but I really don't get the chance to just chill with people IRL. I think that has to do with the fact that hustle culture keeps me working 24.7 and social media seems like an easier way to keep up with people. This is truthfully not healthy, so I'm going to make a point of setting up luch dates and game nights with those who are close to me. I think we should all use a little time to really check in with our friends because perhaps they need you by their side and not just as a message alert in their pockets.
5. Vote in every election- I mean EVERY election, not just the big one.
6. Return to making healthy choices- I'm always conscious about the food I stuff in my gob (I don't know one influencer on the planet that doesn't) but I've been a bit lax lately. I got into a good routine last year and then began to let some things slide. I just want to feel a bit more structured in my eating habits as well as be socially and environmentally conscious of what I'm consuming.
7. Don't break your New Years resolutions
Peace ya'll

Excellent ideas, especially #4 and #5 ^.^

I too plan on more IRL interaction with family and friends, now that I'm retired and have all the time in the world.
